Security Supervisor To Account Director

Lee Evans highlights the growth and leadership opportunities available at Wilson James, having risen through the ranks since joining the company in 2016. From joining as an Events Security Manager to his current role as Security Operations Director, Lee’s journey shows his dedication and hard work carried out over the years. Starting his Wilson James career as the Events Security Manager for the Museum Consortium, he quickly proved his ability to manage complex operations and deliver exceptional service.

By 2019, he had advanced to become the UK Events Security Manager, overseeing security operations across a broader portfolio, then in 2022 was appointed to Site Security Manager at 20 Canada Square, part of the JLL/bp account. Today, Lee serves as the Security Operations Director for the JLL/bp account, where he oversees security operations across seven high-profile UK sites. Through each role, Lee has embraced opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute meaningfully.

One of his key achievements includes being part of the Wilson James team that supported the Nightingale Field Hospital at London’s ExCeL during the Covid-19 pandemic. Lee was also part of the first cohort of the Wilson James Leadership Academy, and contributed to winning the Museum Consortium retender in 2017 and the ExCeL tender in 2020. When asked what he loves most about his role, he stated:

Working with a great team and being proud of the legacy the bp account has is incredibly rewarding.

He also values the opportunity to work across different sites and business entities, ensuring people and locations remain safe while improving services to meet evolving threats and risks. From managing event security to leading operations across multiple sites, Lee has consistently demonstrated a high level of professionalism, innovation, and dedication.
