As the co-founder and Chairman of Wilson James, Gary Sullivan brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to the table, cultivated over decades of dedicated service in the aviation, construction logistics, and security sectors. Gary, is a visionary leader with a passion for industry improvement and a drive for innovation. Having pioneered the very first construction consolidation centre, Gary’s groundbreaking initiatives have reshaped the landscape of the industry, setting new standards for efficiency and sustainability.

Gary is deeply dedicated to the development of the next generation of industry leaders. He has played a pivotal role in shaping the Wilson James Leadership Academy, providing aspiring leaders with the tools, mentorship, and guidance they need to succeed in a dynamic organisation. Gary’s commitment to fostering diversity, inclusion and opportunity within our workforce extends across the industry through his work with Buildforce, a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting military service leavers in transitioning into careers within the construction industry, of which Wilson James is a founding partner. With his wealth of experience and unwavering commitment to excellence, Gary guides our strategic direction with integrity, ensuring that our company remains at the forefront of innovation and continues to drive positive change within our industry and beyond.

Gemma Quirke, our Chief Operating Officer, is a cornerstone of Wilson James, having joined the company in 2001 and progressed through various roles, each one contributing to her exceptional understanding of our business and its people. Starting as a HR Manager and progressing to HR Director, Gemma’s deep understanding of human resources is invaluable in ensuring equitable operations and the deployment of our people, recognising that we are fundamentally a ‘people business.’

Gemma’s trajectory within the company reflects her unwavering commitment and aptitude for leadership. Transitioning from HR into Operations as Managing Director – Security in 2014, she was subsequently promoted to COO during the height of the COVID pandemic. Throughout, Gemma has shown remarkable resilience and strategic direction, guiding our organization through challenging times with grace and integrity.

Mark Abraham, our Chief Financial Officer, provides an expert hand at the financial helm, bringing a wealth of experience and a cool head to our executive team. Joining Wilson James in 2002, Mark’s journey within the company reflects his deep-rooted commitment and invaluable contributions to our financial strategy and success.

Mark’s previous experience in the automotive industry has shaped his approach to finance whereby clear and robust processes ensure that our financial operations are not only efficient but also resilient in the face of dynamic market conditions. His considered insights and ideas shape executive decision-making, guiding our company toward prudent investments and sustainable growth.

Keith Winteflood, our Managing Director – Construction & Logistics, brings a unique blend of expertise and experience to his role, rooted in his background in mechanical and electrical engineering. This foundational knowledge allows Keith to understand the blueprint of the built environment and overlay innovative logistics solutions, ensuring that built assets are not only functional but also high-performing.

Keith joined Wilson James in 2006, initially as an Operations Manager, and has progressed through the business to his current position. He has served as the Managing Director – Construction & Logistics since 2021.

Elizabeth Hegarty is a dynamic leader renowned for her ability to lead large teams to deliver business objectives with excellence. With a keen focus on strategy development and stakeholder engagement, Liz brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role.

Prior to joining Wilson James in 2021, Liz spent a decade at Heathrow Airport, where she held key positions across Sustainability, Security, Terminals, and most recently served as Customer Relations & Service Director. This diverse background equipped Liz with a comprehensive understanding of the aviation industry and invaluable insights into stakeholder management and strategic planning.

Tony Palombo, our Managing Director, Infrastructure & Nuclear, is a seasoned industry specialist renowned for his expertise in logistics operations within major infrastructure and nuclear environments. With a wealth of industry experience, Tony joined Wilson James in 2004 after spending 27 years at Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick, where he honed his skills in the provision of mechanical and electrical services.

Tony’s leadership is characterised by a no-nonsense approach, driving his teams with determination and precision to deliver excellence. He opened our Ireland office in 2012 and subsequently led our international growth with several projects across Europe commencing in 2014. Currently, Tony oversees our logistics contracts in the nuclear and airport sectors, including Hinkley Point C and Heathrow Airport Logistics Integration.

Crawford Boyce, our Managing Director, Security, initially joined Wilson James in 2016 as the Commercial Director for our Security division. Crawford quickly proved himself as a visionary leader, advancing to oversee business development for the entire Wilson James Group in his role as Executive Director for Growth in 2018. Now, we are thrilled to see him embrace the opportunity to lead our Security sector in the role of Managing Director which he took on in 2024, and is bringing his wealth of experience and passion to drive our security operations forward.

Nick Channer, our Chief of Staff, plays a pivotal role in enabling collaboration across Wilson James. He leads on business governance, ranging from assurance, our standards, and Cyber security through to coordinating the work of our boards and Communications & Marketing. Nick is often involved where we need to draw work together to get something key over the line.

With a distinguished 35-year career in the British Army and some 5 years as the strategic lead for HR at Wilson James behind him, Nick brings a wealth of leadership experience and strategic insight to his position at as our Chief of Staff.

Biju Chudasama leads Wilson James’ technology strategy, digital transformation and innovation agenda. He is responsible for strengthening enterprise architecture, embedding scalable digital capability and aligning technology with operational performance across aviation, security, logistics and infrastructure environments.

A strong advocate for data as a strategic asset, Biju focuses on integration, intelligent automation and analytics to enable faster decision-making and measurable outcomes. His leadership positions technology as a disciplined driver of resilience, efficiency and sustainable growth.

Joanne Fenton is our Human Resources Operations Director, bringing exceptional expertise and transformative leadership in HR to Wilson James.

With over two decades of experience in HR management, Jo has made a significant impact on organisational culture and employee engagement. Her career, marked by a commitment to operational excellence and strategic vision, has positioned her as a key driver of HR innovation.

Jo joined Wilson James in 2018, bringing a wealth of experience from various high-profile HR roles across diverse sectors. Her rapid integration and strategic input quickly highlighted her as a leader in optimising our HR functions. As she oversees all HR operations, Jo is dedicated to aligning HR strategies with our broader business goals, enhancing HR processes, and cultivating a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Nick Gallé is the Infrastructure Operations Director at Wilson James, bringing a wealth of experience from a career focused on logistics for capital programmes and airport baggage operations. Joining Wilson James in 2019 as the Airport Services Director, Nick has been instrumental in enhancing operational efficiency across various aviation services and infrastructure projects. With a military background, Nick is passionate about fostering innovation, and delivering unique, effective solutions in the industry.

Elody is our Commercial Director, and oversees the commercial, project finance, and central finance teams across the Wilson James group. Elody initially joined Wilson James in 2014 as an Assistant Accountant and quickly rose through the ranks, now sitting on the Operational Leadership Board. Her leadership is characterised by a strategic approach to business growth, ensuring that commercial objectives are aligned with client needs and market dynamics. Elody is committed to fostering innovation and sustainable development within the company.
