Supervisor To Manager
Wilson James is thrilled to share the success story of Terry Caswell, our Construction Logistics Operations Manager. Terry’s journey with us began in 2014 when he joined as a Logistics Supervisor at Selfridges. His remarkable talent and dedication quickly propelled him to the role of Logistics Manager at the same site by 2016.
Terry’s performance at Selfridges then set the stage for his next challenge. In 2017, he took on the role of Project Manager for the Blue Sky Buildings Project. His expertise and leadership skills then lead to his promotion to Pre-Construction Manager in 2019 and then to Operations Manager in 2020.
Throughout his tenure at Wilson James, Terry has not only taken on progressing roles, but also earned a collection of company awards. These include the Rising Star Award in 2016, Construction Manager of the Year in 2017, and the Outstanding Achievement Award in 2023. These awards underscore his exceptional contributions and commitment to excellence.
Beyond his impressive list of awards, Terry takes immense pride in maintaining strong professional relationships. Today, Terry is one of four Construction Managers, predominantly based in London; however his projects are beginning to branch out beyond the city. His current portfolio includes BAU Logistics at Canary Wharf and 8 Bishopsgate, Facilities management and security at Buckingham Palace, Fitout at 8 Bishopsgate, Logistics in contract with Lendlease, Rutland Barracks with Willmott Dixon and TVC Phase 2 with Multiplex.
Reflecting on his journey, Terry says:
